UPDATED 2022 New CVA Muzzleloaders teased in Muzzle-Loaders.com SHOT Show Video - New CVA WOLF V2?

While we aren’t hearing much in the way of muzzleloading news from SHOT Show 2022, Darren Binder at Muzzle-Loaders.com is sharing some neat finds from his time at the show.

Namely, Muzzle-Loaders.com is going to be one of the first places to find new information about CVA’s 2022 new muzzleloaders. We saw last year that CVA released their muzzleloaders independently, outside of the SHOT Show in a break from previous years. CVA buzz took over much of the muzzleloading space online during the release of their Accura MRX, Accura LRX, and Paramount HTR Releases, they could be looking for a repeat of that this year.

What are CVA’s new muzzleloaders for 2022?

No word yet on CVA’s new muzzleloaders for this year. Could it be the rumored .40 caliber Accura line leaked last year? Perhaps upgrades to the best selling WOLF or OPTIMA line after last year’s Accura upgrades? Time will tell. I know I’ll be tuned in to see what Darren and Muzzle-Loaders.com share with us!

UPDATE: As of 2:18pm 1/19, we have word from Dudley McGarity, a longtime CVA rep, that a CVA Wolf V2 may be coming this year.

In a comment on the CVA Shooters Facebook group McGarity responded to a question asking why the WOLF is absent from the CVA Catalog for 2022.

With last year’s supply chain disruptions, CVA may be working to get their new products in the US before promoting for a easier experience for both customers and CVA Staff.

This news is not confirmed to be fact, but an updated WOLF has been teased before by CVA’s Jason Sebo has stated on the Muzzle-Loaders.com Podcast where Sebo shared they hoped to give some love to some of their more affordable muzzleloaders to make them even better. Budget modern muzzleloaders may not be for everyone, but it’s hard to argue that they are the entry point for many into the sport. If a CVA Wolf V2 is on the way, I’m sure it will be welcome among muzzleloading hunters.
