CVA CONFIRMS Wolf V2 Rumor
Muzzleloading news was light during the SHOT show, but we are starting to hear some news now a few weeks after the show. In the newest episode of the Muzzle-Loaders.com Podcast, Darren talks to Jason Sebo about what CVA has in store for 2022 and there are some big changes.
First up, Jason reconfirmed what we reported on in January, CVA is indeed launching a new and improved CVA Wolf - dubbed the Wolf V2. The Wolf V2 follows in the footsteps of the Optima and Accura muzzleloaders in taking the V2 name for the improved model.
What’s new in the CVA Wolf V2?
Jason said CVA has been looking at their line up of muzzleloaders and they knew they didn’t have a youth, or small statured adult focused model. The team at CVA thought the popular Wolf was the perfect model to be flexible for all sizes of shooters. The Wolf V2 will barrow the adjustable rubber spacer from the CVA Cascade to accommodate shooters of various sizes.
From the CVA Cascade product details:
The buttstock has adjustable length of pull by way of a removable spacer – making the CASCADE™ an ideal gun for still growing youths, small-statured adults, or even the full-sized hunter who wants to shorten his stock to accommodate heavy winter clothing. And dual front swivel studs allow for the use of both a sling and a bi-pod at the same time.
The interview doesn’t tell us much more about the Wolf V2, but it does say we can expect to see more in the coming weeks. After an admittedly rough year last year for production and distribution, Jason lets us know the team at CVA is working hard to make this year better for its customers.
