We’re still waiting for the official lists and announcements, but Representative Mazzie Boyd of Missouri is helping us get the celebration started early with her announcement on Facebook last week.

The Hawken Rifle is OFFICIALLY the State Rifle of Missouri! We are now the 10th state to do it. Thank you to Governor Parson for signing SB 139 into law! I’m so thankful to everyone that supported my bill and helped me get this through the finish line.

Missouri is now the 10th state to identify an official state firearm, it’s the 6th to make a muzzleloader the official state firearm. With our rich history in muzzleloaders, it’s nice to see a majority of state firearms being muzzleloaders here in the United States.
