Next Kibler Kit to be shared this weekend

Fans of the Kibler Longrifles line of flintlock muzzleloader kits will get their first look at the next Kibler kit this coming weekend. Kibler’s Longrifles have generously donated a Kibler Woodsrunner, completed by Jim himself to a local Hospice organization fundraiser. As of writing, the kit has been bid over $20,000, all the funds will go directly to the local hospice organization. The auction ends September 30, 2023, you can find out more here.

Alongside the completion of the auction this weekend, Jim and the Kibler team are offering attendees a “first look” at the next Kibler kit, the Kibler English Fowler.

We will bring along the rough prototype of our up and coming Fowler Rifle Kit. We are very excited to get to share this with the customers who are joining us at the Hospice Hoedown event next weekend. Those in attendance will be able to handle it and get a taste of the final stages of bringing a kit to life. The Fowler is not currently for sale.

Reportedly, the kit will have fine English lines and be available in a variety of gauges for sporting and hunting use. The kit on display during the hospice auction will be in the early stages of Jim’s process, but he has mentioned online that the kit will be available in 2024.

Releasing a new kit on the heels of the wildly popular Kibler Woodsrunner will have fans clutching their wallets, muzzleloading shotguns are a high-demand piece of muzzleloading. With limited availability from major manufacturers like Traditions, InvestArm, and Pedersoli, much of the demand rests on American builders and manufacturers to satisfy.

Fans will remember the slight delay between the announcement and release of the Kibler Woodsrunner, Jim has mentioned in the past that the Woodsrunner was the first kit in a new set of machines for the company and that future production would be faster. If we see the Kibler Fowling piece in 2024, I’d have to agree that’s pretty darn fast.
