Primary Source: Travels through the states of North America, and the provinces of Upper and Lower Canada, during the years 1795, 1796, and 1797
Those of us with a healthy dose of history loving that runs in tandem with a love of muzzle loaders are always on the hunt for more history to read, more documents, more anything to further our research into the history of those who came before.
I’m happy to share today a new resource I’ve found thanks to some history loving friends, the journals of Isaac Weld, titled “Travels through the states of North America, and the provinces of Upper and Lower Canada, during the years 1795, 1796, and 1797”.
This series was written by several authors as they traveled and is available in full thanks to ARCHIVE.org. You may download this in a variety of formats to keep for yourself including PDF and EPUB.
Originally written by Weld, Isaac, 1774-1856; Storer, James, 1771-1853; Springsguth, Samuel; Thomson, Paton, b. ca. 1750; Stockdale, John, 1749?-1814, you’ll find some delightful entries describing life and events in the late 18th and early 19th centuries.
Add this to your library today via this digital format or purchase a copy of the book to continue your history education.
