If you are like me and continuing your research into the 18th century, documented and appropriate clothing is a bit of a maze to navigate through. The guys behing the “Shirtail Mess” blog have started a new youtube series about preparing your wardrobe for immersive 18th century events.

As I continue my research into the 18th century, especially the muzzleloaders of the period my interest in the clothing and portraying it accuratly continues to grow. My ongoing conversations with Nathan Kobuck and Jake at the Shirttail Mess have been so informative. I’m glad to see both of these folks continuing to share their knowledge for others to see and learn from.
