Pyrodex
The Pyrodex family is one of the first blackpowder substitutes developed. It is available in Rifle/Shotgun, Pistol, Select, and as pellets in 50 grain and 30 grain variations.

Triple 7 powder is the latest substitute development from The Hodgdon Powder Company. Triple 7 is available as FFG and FFG granulations of powder, as well as 50/30, 50/60 magnum, 50/50, and 45/50 pellets. The latest innovation is the Triple 7 “FireStar” Pellet.

Blackhorn 209
Blackhorn 209 was originally developed by Western Powders in the mid 2000s as a new, super accurate blackpowder substitute for modern inline muzzleloading rifles. To this day it has a dedicated fan base achieving incredible results with their muzzleloaders.
In 2021, Blackhorn 209 was purchased by the Hodgdon Powder Company.
