Let’s Build a CVA Hawken

Follow along with your kit from start to finish as I build this kit Hawken rifle.

The CVA Hawken was a contemporary of the Thompson/Center Hawken and debuted in the 1980s. While they were later produced in Spain, several of the original models were made in the USA and featured Douglas Barrels. The kit we are building in this project is a .50 original CVA Hawken. It does not have any of the subnames like Mountain Rifle or St. Louis Hawken. The kit originally comes from a local family and is not mine. We are finishing the kit for the family, whose father passed away before he could finish it.
