Showrunners Frank and Lilly House, Mel and Angela Hankla took to social media this week to notify contemporary longrifle enthusiasts that there will be no Fall Frolic Show in 2022. See their statement below:

After much consideration, it has been decided that the FALL FROLIC has served its purpose.

TO SUPPORT THE CONTEMPORARY ARTISTS!

This event was established to provide a venue for artist to exhibit and sell their art, when basically all other events had been cancelled. It was held again last year because of the request of the artist.

We loved Lawrenceburg and the event center, but all your favorite events are back in full swing and folks are excited to get back to a normal routine.

We feel the Fall Frolic has completed a successful mission. Anxious to see everyone one down the road…

THANKS !

Frank, Lally, Mel, & Angela

The Fall Frolic was started in 2020 as a means for artists to find some support after a year of heavy event cancellations due to COVID 19 restrictions. The show received praise from artists and attendees for gathering some of the best contemporary makers in longrifle culture for a casual autumnal event. With the larger events back online and running at full capacity, it makes sense for Mel and the gang to pause the Fall Frolic show, it’s a lot of work to get a show like that up and running, Frank, Lally, Mel, and Angela deserve a break for sure.

You’ll find them and many of the artists featured at the Fall Frolic attending other events around the country through the year. Be sure to stop by and tell them hi.
