Bob Woodfill’s “The Hawken Shop 1822-1870” begins second printing, available Fall 2024 | Hawken Book

The long awaited second printing of Bob Woodfill's "The Hawken Rifle 1822-1870" has begun and the next round of books will be available this fall. The books are expected to hit the American coast in mid-August and will be available through the National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association and other muzzleloading retailers sometime in September.

The price of the book will remain the same as the first printing.

While Bob wanted to make some changes to the book with updated information, he has decided to instead do a second printing of the original book to try and meet customer demand for the resource.

I’ve personally used my copy of Bob’s book numerous times in our Hawken Kit build series videos. The book is a great resource of history, technical information, and full color photographs. I highly recommend the book to any fan of muzzleloading.
