Kalamazoo Living History show preparing for return in 2022

After a long hiatus the past two years, the Kalamazoo Living History Show, known as one of the best events in the country, is preparing for a return in 2022. The event will take place on March 19th and 20th at the Kalamazoo Expo Center in Kalamazoo Michigan.

In a post shared this week on Facebook, the show announced that vendor applications will be mailed at the end of November, 2021. Read the full announcement below;

SHOW APPLICATIONS- will be snail mailed the week of November 29 to prior vendors and potential new vendors who have requested one. PLEASE private message me or email kalamazoolivinghistoryshow@gmail.com if your snail mail address has changed since the 2019 show.

REMINDER- PRIOR vendors who register by 12/30 may take a 10% discount on fees IF their registration is postmarked by 12/30. This will hopefully give vendors a financial break, and will also help us corral the paperwork in plenty of time to plan the show's layout.

The 10% discount doesn't apply to non-profits who register, as non-profits already receive a 20% discount.

Hearing that this event is moving forward is great news for everyone, vendors, enthusiasts and customers alike. As one of the largest and earliest events of the year, it’s cancellation in 2020 and 2021 left a noticeable hole in the community.

If you’ve never been to this show, you are in for a real treat. The expo hall is made up of 4 massive rooms, all filled to the brim with vendors, craftspeople, demonstrators and educators ready to share their love of history with 10,000+ visitors from the public.

We’ll be doing our best to keep you informed as this great show makes it’s return. I’m planning on being in attendance and hope to bring you a first hand look at this event.
