Let's Build an InvestArm Plains Pistol Kit Part 7: Polishing Ramrod Pipe & Belt Hook | Muzzleloader

Today we're back in the shop for our first Winter 2023-2024 project! This kit is a continuation of the Lyman Plains Blackpowder Pistol, now made by InvestArm of Italy.

In this video I focus on sanding the metal hardware. There are a lot of pieces and we need them to fit and look right, so I'm starting with 80 grit sand paper before moving on to 150 grit. This is a slow process, but we are making progress. As each part gets polished we are closer and closer to final stain and finish.
