Red River Renegades Cancel May 2024 Shoot

In a Facebook post shared earlier this week, Group Administrator Willis Norton shared this update about the Club’s May shoot,

“We regret to inform you all that the Red River Renegades May Shoot has been cancelled out of caution as we work out our future access to the range. We will keep you informed about our future shoots. We appreciate your support.”

No further information has been shared at the time of reporting. We are saddened to hear this update. Many updates like this are coming from muzzleloading clubs around the country. Access to range and club land continues to be under fire as neighbors, local governments, and land owners change attitude or favor towards local clubs.

We don’t know for sure what has happened with the Red River Renegades range, it could be a simple schedule conflict and I hope that it is that simple. Clubs like the Red River Renegades have worked hard to keep muzzleloading going and will continue to be crucial in the future.
