Vortex Optics Podcast talks about modern muzzleloading in relation to hunting

The Vortex Nation Podcast, one of the most popular firearms podcasts out there, has released the first in a new mini series about muzzleloading. Podcast hosts discuss how they got into muzzleloading as well as some of the changes that have happened in the industry over the past 20 years.

From the way the hosts talk, a podcast about traditional sidelock muzzleloaders is on the way as well as some discussion on the hot rods of muzzleloading, the smokeless muzzleloader.

It’s the tying-your-own flies of sending a projectile down range. The intricacies of muzzleloading are part of the fun. It is beautifully simple yet complex. One thing is certain, it’s fun and can extend your hunt season, as well as create fantastic opportunities in the woods you otherwise would not get.
