Mike wanted a woods walk gun, something he could throw in the car on a weekend and go ring some steel with friends. He’s always admired the work of Isaac Haines, as many of us have and decided to set some time aside and make a rifle for himself.

The result is this “Haines inspired” long rifle. It has a .50 cal swamped Colerain with a 1:48 twist, Kibler Ketland Lock, brass hardware, and a beautiful curly maple stock. Mike engraved the rifle himself, and notably, the toe plate shaped like Lady Liberty with her necklace being the release for the patchbox.
