USIMLT Long Range Team under NEW leadership, Lee Shaver serving as Captain

In a forum post on the Shiloh forums, Americans got a first glimpse at the new captain of the long-range muzzleloading team as he begins planning for the 2022 season.

Join us in welcoming Lee Shaver to the role of captain of the long-range team. Lee is well known for his long-range shooting abilities, recently shooting a perfect target at 1000 yards. Lee is experienced with black powder cartridges as well as muzzleloading rifles at these long ranges and is a welcome addition to the team.

As captain it is my job to organize and oversee the team for the upcoming world championships which are to be held next year in Hungary.
— Captain Lee Shaver

Right now, Lee’s primary objective seems to be planning for the recently announced 2022 MLAIC World Championships in Hungary. Lee is working on building the team and is asking for shooters interested in competing on the world stage to contact him.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I'll do my best to answer what I can.

Once I have a reasonably accurate mailing list I will send out an email bringing everyone up to speed as to what has been going on recently in the LR muzzle loading arena. There have been some rules changes, and etc.

Lee can be reached via email - longrangeml(A.T.)gmail.com

We are wishing Captain Shaver all the best as he leads the team to what we hope are some gold medals in 2022. If you are interested in this ccompetion, you can learn more about the USIMLT at usimlt.com.
