1st GOEX Shipment expected at NMLRA Fall National Shoot

In a facebook post, NMLRA member James asked if there would be GOEX Blackpowder, owned by Estes Energetics, at the Fall Shoot (September 9-17, 2023). NMLRA Operations Manager Harold Coleman has confirmed that the NMLRA is expecting a shipment of GOEX, likely the first released by Estes, at the Fall National Shoot.

At this time, we don’t have an estimation as to what GOEX will cost per pound or what powders will be available. With so much pent-up demand and support for American-made powder at a possible all-time high, I’m sure the powder will sell fast regardless of cost. We do know that GOEX has stated that Old Eynsford powder will be coming at a later date. According to GOEX, priority has been the main line of sporting powders for the muzzleloading market.

Lots of questions still loom and I’m sure the forums will be analyzing the powder for performance and effectiveness after the purchase of GOEX by Estes Energetics.
